Sarnia-Lamton Drug Strategy - Approach to Alcohol and Other Drugs In Our Community

A complex mix of government, institutions and community-based organizations currently deliver a wide range of substance use programs and services but there was no designated lead for this issue and no co-ordinated plan or approach in Sarnia-Lambton. The United Way took this lead which resulted in the development of the first Sarnia-Lambton Drug Strategy. This comprehensive, county wide strategy sets out how we agree to work together to respond in a more effective manner and be proactive to more effectively prevent the abuse of alcohol and drugs in our community. This website is one step in addressing the recommendations contained in the Strategy.
