Provides a 24 hour telephone support and crisis service to callers who need a listening ear, assurance, support, and/or information about services in Sarnia/Lambton. Tel Check is a program that provides a nightly telephone call to seniors and persons with disabilities who live alone and are feeling isolated. The service offers a listening ear, emotional support, and a security check for their clients. The calls are made 365 days of the year and there is no fee for this service. We accept self referrals and referrals from professionals. This service can be provided on either a short-term or long-term basis. |
